Our Location and Class Times
Our training facility is located at 28408 Sweetgum Road in Magnolia, Texas. Classes are held on Wednesday evening from 6:30-7:45 PM and Sunday afternoon from 2:30 - 4:00 PM. Additional open training sessions will be made available to active students as schedule permits.
Our Organization
Forms, Fees and Dues
Prior to beginning training, students will be required to register and sign a liability waiver.
Training requires membership in the Yokohama Mugaikai - there is a one-time registration fee of 5000 yen and annual dues of 5000 yen + 1000 yen for each Dan rank level (e.g. 3-Dan dues are 8000 yen). Grading fees for ranks are generally modest at lower ranks and increase at more senior levels. There are three Kyu ranks before Dan ranks commence. Students generally train for at least one year before attempting Shodan ranking.
For Magnolia Mugaikai, fees are $50 per month. This includes scheduled classes and any open training sessions that may be available. This does not include any testing fees, seminar fees, equipment costs, or other fees or expenses related to training. Members of the International Battodo Federation and 
Kenshinkan Dojo may receive a discount of 50% on monthly fees if full monthly dues at Kenshinkan Dojo are current.
